Why Auction Market Theory

I also built this course to introduce more traders to Auction Market Theory (AMT). AMT describes price as the result of a continuous auction between buyers and sellers. Markets move between balance around fair value and imbalance, as price searches for new value. Volume profile shows where that trading concentrated, which is why FRVP is part of this course.

In my view, popular approaches like ICT and SMC haven’t been statistically proven, and I’d rather teach a framework that starts from how price is discovered. That’s my opinion, and you’re free to test any method yourself.
